He encountered and was beguiled by Laws of Form while reading for a degree in Mathematics at Cambridge in the 1970's. He invented an astronomical or astrological clock (which it is depends entirely on your point-of-view) called Almagest. He has been working (for a few decades) on a book about black holes and the laws of physics.
